The wait is over for DTI-ARMM

After a long wait, the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI-ARMM) has now its own building. 

19 November 2018, during the 29th ARMM Anniversary, the new building of DTI-ARMM Regional Office was inaugurated headed by the Regional Secretary Atty. Anwar A. Malang with the presence of Regional Governor Mujiv S. Hataman together with Executive Secretary Atty. Laisa Masuhud Alamia, BTC Commissioner Dr. Susana S. Anayatin, RBOI Chairperson Atty. Ishak V. Mastura, RPDO Executive Director Engr. Baintan A. Ampatuan, CSEE, PFEZ Administrator Eshan Karl O. Mabang, and ARMM employees.

 

The new building located at ORG Compound, Cotabato City is the first owned office of the department since its conception on the year 1993. Its successful establishment serves as a legacy from the current department’s secretary under the administration of Honorable Governor Hataman.

Along with the historical inauguration was the Launching of Negosyo Center inside the new building which is a One-Stop Shop facility for the entrepreneurs’ need like business counseling and training capacitation.

It features a Display Center which showcase the ARMM wide products, Co-working space which is a free space with free WIFI that enables businessmen to conduct meeting and business related transactions, and Training Center that focuses on giving the entrepreneurs specially those who are in the beginning stage a set of basic entrepreneurial trainings such as but not limited to basic bookkeeping, marketing strategies and product development thru the coordination and partnership of the DTI-ARMM with the other government agencies and private sectors for an effective implementation.

Atty. Malang encouraged the public to grab the opportunity and avail the services offered by the department.
